Recipe for Lisa’s Macaroons

You know the feeling:  you’ve just finished a tasty sandwich at one of the best lunch spots in Houston and now you’re craving something sweet to make your Houston deli experience complete.

Lisa’s Macaroons fit the bill — they’re yummy beyond belief and a perfect indulgent treat. The great news is, now you can make these amazing macaroons in your own kitchen!

We’ve broken into the recipe vault at Katz’s Houston Deli in order to bring you this great recipe! Enjoy!

Recipe For Lisa’s Macaroons.
11 cups shredded coconut
2 tbsp. vanilla extract
16 ounce of condensed milk

mixing bowl
can opener
sheet tray
4 ounce scoop

1)  mix shredded coconut, vanilla and condensed milk very thoroughly.
2)  use the scoop and place on a floured greased sheet tray and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 250 degrees.
3)  While macaroons are baking check for desired brownness.
4) let cool, then enjoy!
